Leslie DiNella is a cellist with the NPO and currently serves on the NPO Board. Her early interest in music was fulfilled by lessons in piano, flute, and briefly cello. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Art History. After receiving a Master’s at Rutgers, working at the Birmingham Museum of Art, and then pursuing studies toward a PhD in Medieval Art History at the University of Pittsburgh, she began an intensive career as mother to three children. Love of music led her back to the cello, and since 2006 she has been playing and volunteering with the NPO. She works part-time for evrits.com, volunteers with her children’s school, and serves on the vestry at the Episcopal Church of the Advent.
