Delores Hershey grew up on a farm in a Michigan family that had just left the Amish community to embrace Christianity. She began serving the Lord at an early age by playing the piano, violin, and singing in her hometown church. By the age of 13, she became the church’s full-time pianist. Her family, also, spent several years singing on weekends at area churches.
She has become an accomplished classical instrumentalist, and earning superior ratings in statewide competitions on piano, tuba, and violin. She would go on to be part of the Jackson Youth Symphony, her high school and college band, her college orchestra, and classical chamber groups.
After graduating college with a double major in piano performance and piano pedagogy, she dove right into her music career by performing and teaching music.
Delores is married to her husband, Bryan Hershey, who, also, shares her love for ministry by running sound at Faith Church.
She is currently the Music Director at Faith Church, teaching private piano, playing her violin in the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra, and performing every week by playing the piano and singing at local venues in Nashville.
