The NPO is a tax-exempt 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization made up of of volunteer musicians and Board members. As with any other orchestra, the NPO has operating expenses such as music purchases, program printing, instrument rental, and transportation. Our charter allows us to ask members of the community, individuals and corporations, to make donations to help us in our mission.

The NPO is dedicated to making all of our performances FREE to the public. We receive no income from tickets sales.

You can support the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra in several ways. The easiest way is to make a donation above. It is also possible for you or your company to underwrite a performance, or even a single piece of music. If you choose to help us purchase parts for a single piece of music, we print a special 'Thank You' in the concert program every time that piece is played (for years to come). With any support of the NPO we will announce your generous gift as part of our annual fund-raising campaign. All gifts to the NPO are tax deductable.
